Since its inception at the 2011 National Puppetry Festival, the National Puppet Slam has continued its mission to showcase excellence and variety in short form adult puppet theatre. *By attending the National Puppet Slam you release Puppeteers of America and Beau Brown from any and all candy related injuries sustained during the performance.

* Please note that this application is for individuals who are ALREADY planning on attending the festival. Accepted pieces will receive a travel stipend, but acceptance does NOT cover travel or lodging for the festival. The stipend amount is contingent on the number of accepted pieces. The Puppet Slam Network grant will be divided between the acts.
